These three fossils are all Calymene Blumenbachii samples, trilobites from the lower Silurian, found in Malvern, Worcestershire. This genus of trilobite was originally discovered in Dudley, also in Worcerstershire, England. It was called the Dudley Bug and actually features on the town of Dudley’s coat of arms!

Anyway, this trilobite lived in the shallow reef systems that dominated the English Midlands when they were at a latitude of around 20˚, similar to the barrier reefs today.
